Additional Admission Requirements: *A Course-by-Course Transcript Evaluation by WES/ECE for applicants who completed or are completing a degree at an institution outside of the US or Canada *Portfolio Materials You should submit your required audition and writing sample via the portfolio section of the online application. What to submit: Audition Please prepare two pieces in contrasting styles. Selections should generally be no longer than four minutes each. Please be sure to state the pieces in your video clearly with title and composer. If you are a composer, provide recorded examples of your compositions and/or scores. Finally, please save your video in the format “Last Name_First Name_Audition” Writing Sample Prepare the following as a single document: A list of your repertoire as a performer The names of teachers with whom you have studied An example of your writing with APA citation demonstrating your reflective and critical thinking Double spaced Minimum 500-1000 words Be sure to save the one document including all these materials in the format “Last Name_First Name_Samples” Once you have submitted the application, we will reach out to schedule your interview, which will also consist of some sight reading.
